Meet the Leading Public and Private Cannabis Companies at Benzinga’s Toronto Conference

Benzinga, a financial media company that has developed a highly successful FinTech conference and that offers extensive cannabis industry coverage, will be presenting the Cannabis Capital Conference in Toronto on August 16th and 17th at the Arcadian. The event, which kicks off on Thursday evening with a networking reception, will bring together leading cannabis investors and entrepreneurs from Canada and the United States for a full day of panels and company presentations on Friday.

One of the highlights of the event will be presentations from 30 leading companies, with three tracks across two sessions. The morning session includes public companies Aphria, Aurora Cannabis, CannaRoyalty, Golden Leaf,  Harvest One, iAnthus Capital, Liberty Health Sciences, Medicine Man Technologies, Organigram, Terra Tech and Tidal Royalty and private companies Compass Cannabis, Cresco Labs, New Frontier Data and Rubicon Organics.

The afternoon session includes public companies CordovaCann, Emblem, Invictus MD, Khiron Life Sciences, LiveWell, Maricann and MedMen and private companies 4Front, Avicanna, Bridging Finance, Hightimes Holdings, MediPharm Labs, MJardin, Province Brands and Sail Cannabis.

In between the two sessions and after lunch, one of the most interesting panels will take place: “Perspectives on the Cannabis Investment Landscape”

Following the panel, Vic Neufeld of Aphria will present a Fireside Chat. Marc Lakmaaker of Aurora Cannabis will also be conducting a Fireside Chat in the afternoon.

There are several other panels during the day, but one of the more interesting ones will be “Beyond the Grow: Executing on Unique Cannabis Business Ideas”

The conference, which should appeal to a broad range of investors, from retail to institutional, offers unparalleled access to some of the leading direct and ancillary companies that trade publicly across North America, and it also allows investors to meet with several private companies that are on the path to going public. Admission for the event is just $247 for investors at the Early Bird rate.
