Confident Cannabis, which integrates now with several software providers and will be adding others soon, is placing itself smartly in the middle of growers, sellers and testing labs, providing data and management systems to better connect their customers. The company’s website is light on information, but TechCrunch recently described the company’s $3mm seed funding, remarkable progress in just nine months since launching and some more background information. The company’s founders are Stanford grads who have attracted funding from Slow Ventures, Y Combinator and StartX.
CEO Stephen Albarran is trying to bring transparency to the industry and to make information readily available between the different parts of the supply chain. The company operates in five states presently and will be expanding to four additional states, and it has 1500 producers on its platform.
