The high-end high in California is getting more convenient. Quartz profiled Club M, one of several California cannabis companies employing the subscription business model (boxes) that has become so popular in other retail categories.  The company reports 300 monthly subscribers for its offerings, which start at $100 per month, but it has recently introduced a limited edition offering to its members, which are tilted 60% towards women.

The M1K, which costs $1020 including delivery and is available to only California medical cannabis patients, is loaded with cannabis products and accessories and is delivered in a box made by Apothecarry. The company also offers another version that includes a leather purse from Annabis. The three month subscription includes a free fourth month.
