Washington’s Liquor and Cannabis Board shut down Nine Point Growth Industries and destroyed 2000 of its plants and clones. The company failed to pay its state taxes on a timely basis, though it had reduced the obligation from $85,000 to $29,000 at the time of the seizure.
Owner Gregory Stewart was the second recipient of a recreational license to cultivate and process in Washington and was best known for his Frankenstein/Lemon OG Kush hybrids grown in its Tier 2 indoor facility in Bremerton. According to its website, its products were sold in 14 dispensaries across the state.
