Silicon Valley Pioneer Adam Schwartz Joins New Frontier Data Board of Directors
Washington, Nov. 28, 2017 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — New Frontier Data, the leading provider of data, analytics and business intelligence in the cannabis industry, is proud to announce the appointment of Adam Schwartz, Founder and CEO of Articulate, a global leader in online learning software, to its board of directors.
“When I founded New Frontier Data in 2014 many were skeptical the industry was ready to value actionable real-time data. I could not be prouder to finally see our vision validated and supported by Silicon Valley experts such as Adam Schwartz,” said Giadha Aguirre de Carcer, CEO and founder of New Frontier Data.
I am excited to join New Frontier Data’s Board at such an incredibly crucial time. Operators and industry participants are becoming more sophisticated and demanding more information and data daily. I look forward to using my experience in building Articulate into a global leader to help New Frontier Data fulfill the industry need for better data and analytics.
Adam Schwartz
Schwartz founded Articulate in 2002 with a vision to create innovative technologies that make it easier for the world to learn. Under Schwartz’s direction, Articulate has grown from a groundbreaking idea into an award-winning company that was recognized by Deloitte as one of the fastest-growing technology companies in North America. Articulate customers include 93 of the Fortune 100 and 78,000 organizations in 151 countries. Courses built with Articulate software have reached more than 83 million learners worldwide. Mitch Baruchowitz, Managing Partner of Merida Capital Partners and lead investor in New Frontier Data added, “Merida is highly focused on recruiting the right resources to support our portfolio companies. When Adam joined Merida as an investor and partner, we immediately focused on how we could translate his experience building a world-class SaaS company to help New Frontier Data. We are excited to have him fill Merida’s second board seat so that he can work with Giadha and the New Frontier Data team to continue leading the big data revolution in the cannabis industry.”
The cannabis industry is taking a turn, catalyzed by savvy entrepreneurs and thought leaders such as Adam. We are very fortunate to have a very experienced team of directors and advisors, each a leader in their respective fields, who understand what we at New Frontier Data are looking to achieve: establishing the repository and protocols needed for true vetted information-sharing and intelligence-reporting in the cannabis industry worldwide.
