Consisting initially of 18 members, the index includes leading cultivators, processors and retailers of cannabis in the United States. Launched on October 31 with a value of 100, the index closed at 124.16 on November 7.
The index, which will be equally weighted after being rebalanced monthly, includes both state-regulated cannabis companies as well as companies selling CBD derived from industrial hemp.
