The Economist made the case for marketers of marijuana to court the demographic of mothers, who, not surprisingly, don’t respond well to the traditional appeals. The article discusses some of the gourmet brands of edibles and topicals that seem to target the coveted audience, including those made by House of Jane, Mary’s Medicinals, TreatWell and Yummi Karma. The article suggests appealing to health benefits and the potential to replace dangerous pharmaceuticals.
