Full Moon Investments Provides $12.5 Million Financing for Massachusetts Medical Marijuana Company and Seeks to Deploy $20 Million to Fund Arkansas Medicial Marijuana Dispensary Licensees
Finance And Private Equity Arm Of Large Fully Integrated Cannabis Company Poised To Play a Role In The Arkansas Medical Cannabis Industry
Jan. 10, 2019 — Full Moon Investments, the leading private fund for medical and recreational cannabis businesses, today announced a $12.5 million cash financing deal with Massachusetts-based Middlesex Integrative Medicine, a provider of high-quality medical cannabis. Nationwide, the medical cannabis industry is expanding at a 30% annual rate. In Arkansas, 32 dispensary licenses were just awarded around the state. Full Moon Investments is ready to support the growing Arkansas cannabis industry with $20 million in funding availability.
The Massachusetts financing is in exchange for convertible notes from a vertically integrated grower/processer/dispenser licensee. The transaction gives the Boston-based company access to capital to build out its state-of-the-art high-production capacity cultivation and laboratory facilities (currently underway), and three planned dispensaries. The laboratory includes kitchen facilities to make chocolates and other edibles.
