In a hugely positive move that came against the official recommendation of its advisory board, the Minnesota Department of Health approved intractable pain as a qualifying condition in the state’s medical cannabis program. Minnesotans have seen the new program struggle since the July 1st launch, with only 760 patients in the program, but the addition next August of what is the most common qualifying condition in other states by far has the potential to boost the program dramatically, which could benefit the two medical cannabis suppliers, LeafLine Labs and Minnesota Medical Solutions, which is owned by Vireo Health.
