The Alaska Marijuana Control Board approved eight licenses on Thursday, including testing labs CannTest LLC and AK Green Labs and six cultivators, including Rosie Creek Farm, Greatland Ganja, Sunrise Gardens, Rainforest Farms, Three Sisters and Arctic Herbery. While none were rejected, two applications were tabled.

The Board will meet today to review more than a dozen remaining completed applications. The complete list of those businesses that are awaiting approval as well as those that are under review or that have initiated license applications is available here. The license awards are provisional, as there is a sixty-day protest period at the local level. The state will begin licensing retail stores in the fall.
