Silver State Trading, which is already growing 10K plants,  will soon begin sales from its 40K s.f. cultivation facility in Sparks after it receives its final certification.  The company has spent more than $6mm to develop its operations.  Kanna, a 2000 s.f. dispensary that will be a customer of Silver State Trading, will open in February.

The Nevada medical cannabis program has seen many delays as complying with the strict regulatory standards has proven to be costly and access to capital has been limited. According to Will Adler, Executive Director of the Nevada Medical Marijuana Association, a large number of licensed companies are struggling to open.  He expects as many as 15% to miss the April 15th deadline to be in operation.
