Canopy™ to Host Free JumpStart Conference for Cannabis Entrepreneurs and Startups on May 25
DENVER, May 4, 2017— Canopy, a venture fund and business accelerator for companies developing ancillary products and services for the legal cannabis industry, will host the Canopy JumpStart Conference, a free full-day conference for cannabis entrepreneurs and startups, on May 25 at the Cultivated Synergy coworking and event space in Denver.
Fifteen distinguished panelists, including keynote speakers Liz Stahura, co-founder of BDS Analytics, the leading cannabis market data firm in business intelligence and market share tracking; and Josh Kappel, partner at Vicente Sederberg LLC., the country’s first powerhouse marijuana law firm, will share insights on how to launch a successful business in the rapidly growing cannabis industry. Attendees will have the opportunity to network with industry leaders, learn how to raise capital for a startup, and discuss how to overcome the obstacles to entering the industry.
The JumpStart conference will precede Canopy’s Demo Day in Denver and take place at Cultivated Synergy, 2901 Walnut St., Denver, Colo., 80205, from 10am – 5:30pm MT. The event is invitation only and limited to 150 attendees. Interested persons can apply to attend here.
Legal marijuana is one of the fastest growing industries in the United States, and there are a lot of entrepreneurs eager to figure out how to get started the right way. The Jumpstart Conference is our way to give back to the community of cannabis entrepreneurs which has been so supportive of us since we started Canopy in 2013.
