Tacoma-based cloud software developer, CloudPWR, beat out two rivals to win a contract with the Department of Health in Washington. The company, which already supplies the Liquor and Cannabis Board with software used by license holders, is using its Airlift to create a medical marijuana registry for the state that will be implemented on July 1st. A patient with authorization to use cannabis issued by a health provider will be able to get his or her card printed with a photo at a medically cannabis retailer.
