Fierce Competition to Become Berkeley's Fourth Cannabis Dispensary

Berkeley, California has three dispensaries, including Berkeley Patients Group, Cannabis Buyers Club of Berkeley (CBCB) and Berkeley Patients Care Collective, but, by mid-year, there could be a fourth after a long process.  According to the Berkeley website, Measure T was approved in 2010, but the the City Council didn’t adopt a dispensary ordinance and selection process until August 2014 and accepted applications through March 10, 2015.

On January 28th, six finalists presented to the Berkeley Medical Cannabis Commission. The commission members will discuss the presentations later this week and decide by the middle of the year.  Here are links to the applications:
