Clearstream, the Luxembourg-based central securities depository that provides the clearing for the German stock market, has informed its customers that it will no longer be possible to settle securities “connected directly or indirectly to cannabis and other narcotics products.” The changes take place as of September 28th.

The company cited only “legal reasons” for the change, and it shared a four-page list of impacted securities, which included many U.S. and Canadian companies along with an Australian company and UK-based GW Pharma (NASDAQ: GWPH):
