DANVILLE, PA (December 19, 2017)—Green Thumb Industries (GTI Pennsylvania) has been approved to begin to grow and process medical cannabis at a new, state-of-the-art 70,000 square foot facility located in the Iron Town Commerce Center in Danville, PA. GTI currently operates in Illinois, Maryland, Nevada and Massachusetts. Its team in Pennsylvania consists of accomplished professionals, business people, world-class entrepreneurs and philanthropists driven by the dual commitment to the patients and communities it will serve throughout the state.

GTI will open its facility with a team of ten, grow to 25-30 people in the first quarter of 2018, and will scale up to employ 100 individuals at the peak of operations. In addition to hiring locally, GTI will continue to partner with the community to make sure prospective employees are aware of the opportunities available right in their backyard.
To ensure the highest quality and compliant medical cannabis product, GTI’s facility has some of the most technologically advanced security equipment and standard operating procedures in place to act as a model for safe and compliant business practices.
