Illinois adult-use cannabis sales of $135.7 million increased 7.0% sequentially in July, which is an increase as well on a per-day basis. Compared to a year ago, growth decreased from 9.7% in June to 6.2%:
2021 adult-use sales of $1.38 billion increased 106% over 2020 in Illinois, and year-to-date sales of $886.26 million have increased 17.6% so far in 2022. During July, sales to non-residents increased from 31.6% in June to 32.1% of total sales:
The state separately releases sales from its medical program, which showed that they rose 1.8% sequentially in July to $28.97 million. This was down 10% from a year ago:
Total sales were $164.6 million, which was up about 6% sequentially and up 1.6% from a year ago.
For the first seven months of the year, total sales have been $1.1 billion. This is up 11% from the first seven months of 2021.
