Illinois adult-use cannabis sales in June were up a bit sequentially to $136.4 million, a gain of 2.7% despite one less day than May. The gain was 7.6% from a year ago:
After increasing 106% in 2021 and then 13% in 2022, year-to-date adult-use sales are up 4.5% in the first five months to $784.40 million.
During June, sales to non-residents were up from May’s level of 24.7% to 25.2%:
The state separately releases sales from its medical program, and the release for June was published today. Sales fell 1.6% sequentially to $27.0 million, which was down 5% from a year ago:
For June, combined adult-use and medical sales totaled $163.4 million, which was up 2.0% sequentially and 5.3% from a year ago:
Total sales of $950.2 million are up 2% year-to-date.
