Illinois adult-use cannabis sales of $130.5 million in November, with one less day than October, decreased 0.8% sequentially and increased 8.1% from a year ago:
2021 adult-use sales of $1.38 billion increased 106% from 2020 in Illinois, and year-to-date sales of $1.41 billion have increased 13.5% so far in 2022. During November, sales to non-residents decreased from 30.9% in October to 30.1% of total sales:
The state separately releases sales from its medical program, which showed that they were down 1.0% sequentially in November at $28.2 million. This was down 10.5% from a year ago:
Total cannabis sales were $158.7 million, which was down 0.8% sequentially and up 4.2% from a year ago, the fastest since June.
For the first 11 months of the year, total sales have been $1.73 billion. This is up 8% from the first 11 months of 2021. In 2021, combined cannabis sales grew 72% for the full year.
