Meet the Money Man Behind Colorado's Largest Cannabis Chain

The Denver Post unveiled Denver’s leading cannabis license holders, and the three owners of Native Roots, Josh Ginsberg, Rhett Jordan and Peter Knobel, hold 59 of the 1046 active licenses in the city.  In a companion piece, the newspaper details the backgrounds of the three owners. The success of Native Roots has been helped by the passion and knowledge that Jordan and Ginsberg have brought to the company and the capital and business experience that Knobel has provided.

Jordan and Ginsberg, both in their thirties, are natives of Colorado who met in 2002, becoming close friends. They both entered the industry separately in 2009 and eventually partnered.  They met Knobel, a real estate developer from New York who moved to Vail in 2001 and developed Solaris, when they were looking to lease property near Vail.   Without Knobel, the duo would not likely have been able to build the rapidly expanding 16-store chain.
