Tweed Announces High Times Cannabis Cup Sponsorship in Jamaica
SMITHS FALLS, ON, Oct 28, 2015 /CNW/ – Tweed Inc. (“Tweed”), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Canopy Growth Corporation (TSXV: CGC), is proud to announce that it will sponsor the High Times 2015 Jamaican & World Cannabis Cups taking place in Negril, Jamaica.
This year’s events will be hosted at Rastafari Rootzfest, a 3-day music and cultural festival that showcases and celebrates Rastafari culture. It is also the first cannabis- exempt event to take place in Jamaica since the country recognized Rastafari Sacramental and Religious freedoms earlier this year as part of a sweeping legislative reform of cannabis laws.
