Tweed President Mark Zekulin was in Guelph Thursday afternoon to officially open what the company billed as an improved MedCannAccess service centre. The ceremony was held at the agency’s existing 55 Wyndham St. N., suite 201 location in the city’s downtown. The service centre will now be called Better by Tweed.
Zekulin said Tweed is the first cannabis company to be publicly traded on the TSX Venture market, the first to acquire a major competitor, and the first to open a facility like Better by Tweed.
Mark Zekulin, President of Tweed
For us this is a very exciting day. We’re a licensed producer, and we operate a regulated company and provide a stable, reliable, tested product. Up until today, patients had to interact with us in two ways – online, through social media, or calling our care team. But the option of face to face contact with our company was not possible. That changes today.
