Tradiv Names Todd Palmieri Chief Executive Officer
Former CEO and founder, Aeron Sullivan, continues as Executive Chairman

Tradiv, the world’s largest online wholesale cannabis marketplace, announced today that Todd Palmieri has been appointed to CEO with a position on the board of directors. Former CEO and Founder, Aeron Sullivan, will remain focused on Tradiv in his day-to-day role as founder and executive chairman.
Palmieri was brought on to the team after the explosive growth Tradiv experienced in its first quarter after launch. “I knew within 45 days of launch that Tradiv was going to grow much faster than even our most optimistic forecasts projected. In order to maximize the opportunity and scale quickly, we would need reinforcements at the executive level,” said Sullivan.
“We initiated a search expected to take 6 months to a year, but we quickly received a lot of interest. Todd had all of the experience that we were looking for and he was an immediate culture fit. The team felt an instant impact with Todd’s presence and we’re excited to take the company to the next level together,” said Sullivan, Tradiv’s newly appointed executive chairman.
Todd has deep experience conceiving, financing, and growing new ventures that leverage new technologies to drive rapid growth. He brings more than 25 years experience as a five times founder, CEO, and CFO, from SaaS to pharmacy tech, across every stage of a company’s life-cycle. Todd founded and built ExpenseWatch.com, expense software for small to medium sized businesses, exiting in 2007 with an acquisition by Bezos Expeditions. Prior to joining Tradiv, Todd was a partner at MJSelect, a cloud based software solution that automated numerous activities within dispensary operations.
Todd will be responsible for all current operations and will play a defining role in developing and executing Tradiv’s strategy. “Tradiv’s ability to bring its service to market, attract numerous cannabis businesses, and generate significant transaction volume all in less than a year is remarkable. It’s truly exceptional for such a young company to execute so well,” said Palmieri.
Tradiv was founded to establish an online wholesale marketplace for cannabis businesses in the emerging, yet fragmented, marijuana industry. Tradiv’s marketplace services dispensaries, manufactures of infused products, and cultivators from single store shops to multi-location enterprises.
Tradiv.com was one of ten inaugural companies who joined the CanopyBoulder accelerator in April 2015 – launching its commercial platform in October 2015 after raising a $1 million seed stage round of funding with help of cannabis angel investor network, The ArcView Group.
According to The ArcView Group’s market research reports, the cannabis industry generated $2.4 billion in sales in 2014, up 74% from 2013.
